A FORMER race car driver has built a one-of-a-kind vehicle never before seen on the roads - a 1952 Ford pick-up truck that drives BACKWARDS. Davey Hamilton, from Indianapolis, was struggling to find the truck of his dreams. But having been inspired by his friend in Maine, another former driver who owned a truck, Davey decided to take things one step further. But to build his backwards truck, Davey had to first find a truck with a big back window that could act as a windscreen. Davey told R.Rides: “A lot of the older trucks have really small back windows; they don’t have the wide ones. I couldn’t find a truck with a big back window. I happened to find this truck three miles from my father’s house and knew I had to get it.” The truck had its original body, frames and pedals. “We had put the lights on obviously, going the wrong direction. I didn't know what to do for bed cover. So, we figured to keep the rustic look.” Davey had to do a lot of work for the truck to work just right. “We had to cut a hole between the bed of the truck and the cab of the truck for your feet to go in. And so that had to be sealed up so there's no water getting inside the truck.” With the seats in and doors on, the truck still had a little to go before making its road debut. The windshield wipers got installed to make it safe, so the truck had everything that’s required to get going. “It looks like it's supposed to go forward. And so, it took some time and to get everything levelled out and make sure that was mounted properly.” And Davey loves his creation for lots of reasons. “Number one, it’s an attention getter. Number two, it's definitely a fan favourite, number three, it was a lot of work. There's new people that see it every time we take it out and it's definitely a crowd getter.”

The launch trailer gives you the chance to check out the game’s various features as you spend a day in the shoes of a Barcelona taxi driver who also runs his own business.<br/><br/>06:26am: My work day starts with the first fare! It’s still early, just after sunrise, but already fairly warm. My customer asks me to open the window. I grant her request, and a light breeze blows in and cools the interior. It’s set to be a fine day!<br/><br/>09:02am: After taking a coffee break at the Barceloneta market, I stop at a gas station, taking the opportunity to fill up the car: best to be good and ready before the next fare!<br/><br/>11:43am: I had a long chat with one of my passengers, a tourist, who was asking for recommendations for iconic locations to photograph. I advised her to check out the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, a magnificent Gothic church situated in the La Ribera district. She must have been really pleased, because she gave me a very positive rating and left a generous tip!<br/><br/>1:32pm: I just had a minor accident on the road… I braked too suddenly at a red light, and a car ran into the back of mine. I swiftly stop by the garage for a quick repair. To help get myself over the mishap, I take the opportunity to customise my vehicle, by changing the wheels, the bodywork colour and adding the odd interior accessory.<br/><br/>3:17pm: I’ve got a meeting with one of my drivers, Claudia. She’s been working for my taxi company for a few months, and today I decided to assign her to the El Raval area, a very touristy part of Barcelona. I’ve noticed that she always takes great care of her vehicle, and I think I can trust her with a fancier car, which will definitely catch the eye of the customers there.<br/><br/>5:19pm: As usual, I set aside some time to cruise around the city with no particular destination in mind. No matter how long I’ve lived here, I’m always discovering hidden points of interest! Getting to know Barcelona like the back of my hand provides precious experience, enabling me to acquire new skills, which makes me a better driver, but also a better manager.<br/><br/>6:34pm: I round off the day with a beautiful drive along the seaside road, enjoying the rows of palm trees and a magnificent sunset. Z is a 1996 real-time strategy computer game by The Bitmap Brothers. It is about two armies of robots (red and blue) battling to conquer different planets.<br/><br/>A sequel, Z: Steel Soldiers, was published in 2001.<br/><br/>Unlike traditional real-time strategy (RTS) games, collecting resources or building specific structures is unnecessary for creating an army - the same principle that was introduced by Nether Earth, one of the RTS games ancestors. Regions and structures within their borders that actually manufacture the units are captured by moving troops to their respective flags. All that is needed to do is to hold acquired position for a certain amount of time while the unit is manufacturing. The more regions are under the player's control, the less the time required. More powerful units take more time to construct.<br/><br/>The objective of the game is to eliminate the opponent by taking out their command Fort: either by sending a unit to enter it, or by destroying it directly. Alternatively, destroying all of the opponent's units immediately wins the game.<br/><br/>At the start of every mission, each side is given control of their Fort and a small group of units. A host of unmanned turrets and vehicles are usually scattered about the map and sending a robot to these will allow the player to add them to their army. However, the assigned robot will remain in the captured vehicle or turret as a pilot or a gunner although he may be removed from the gun effectively splitting him from his squad.<br/><br/>The game is significantly different from others of its type: for example, vehicle drivers can take damage from enemy fire, and if the driver is destroyed, the vehicle they were commandeering will be unmanned and can be captured by either side. At the time of its release, Z was also noted for being more complex, intense, and challenging compared to other games of its time, like the original Command & Conquer, where the gameplay usually boiled down to tankrushing AIs showing a lack of aggression. Further different robot types behaved differently. Units such as a sniper with a higher intelligence level are less likely to pop up from a tank because they are likely to be shot.<br/><br/>The game starts off with simple, symmetric levels where the CPU starts with roughly the same hardware as the player. As the game progresses, the levels become more complex, demanding more skill to control all units effectively, and the computer gains an advantage in starting units. For example, the CPU's fort usually has substantially more powerful guard turrets. The computer also gains more logistic advantages. Combat takes place on several planets, with 4 missions on each. When one is successfully captured, a space ship transports the robot army to another.<br/><br/>There are 2 main versions for PC use, one for DOS named Z and another one for Windows 95 named Z 95 & Expansion (that give Zeditor and Extension pack with additional challenging levels from 20 to 35.
