Description: Another gem, digitized and restored, The Bon Ton Show, another local show named after for a local business and WMUR sponsor. Along with Elaine Kay, Tom Power co-hosted. Tom Power, as many WMUR employees did in the early days...wore many hats. On St. Patrick's Day, 1 year later he would on a whim put on a fake Irish accent and play some Irish records. Murphy was tickled by the idea...and The Jimmy Dooley Show was born and would be a Saturday nigh feature for 30 years even when WMUR become WGIR.nn
