A hidden gem of a solo. I caught this track on a public radio station a number of years ago and was knocked out by the guitar (by Seattle based musician John Stowell). Composition by McCoy Tyner. It blends blues attitude, classic jazz guitar elegance and post-modern harmony. Pardon the one missed chord (notice the facial expression).
