STI Sport Black Interior Selection is now available for the Japanese-spec Subaru Forester.<br/><br/>The fifth-generation Subaru Forester continues to experience another model year in Japan with its carried over design and powertrains.<br/>Model year updates include the addition of the new STI Sport Black Interior Selection special edition.<br/>The US-spec Forester Wilderness' Geyser Blue is available only for Japan-spec X-Edition and XT-Edition models.<br/>Subaru may have introduced the new sixth generation of the Forester in North America, but Japanese buyers will have to make do with the current model, which has been on the market since 2018. The domestic version Forester will receive minor model year updates for 2024, including the new STI Sport. A Black Interior Select trim is available, adopting an all-black theme for the cabin.<br/><br/>The exterior of the SUV remains unchanged since its last facelift in 2021. However, Subaru aims to maintain buyer interest with new equipment and special versions. The company is introducing the Subaru Forester STI Sport Black Interior Selection special edition for the 2024 model year.<br/><br/>Based on the current STI Sport trim introduced in 2022, this version features a darker interior that combines Nappa leather upholstery for the seats with silver stitching and piano black inserts.<br/><br/>Additionally, the STI Sport Black Interior Selection can be combined with the exclusive Offshore Blue Metallic exterior colour. Despite the connotations of the STI Sport badge, the model does not receive any power upgrades in lower trim levels and produces the same 175 hp (130 kW / 177 PS) from its 1.8-liter turbocharged boxer engine. It does, however, feature a set of STI-tuned dampers, resulting in improved credential processing.<br/><br/>Another highlight of the 2024 MY is the Geyser Blue color, available exclusively for the X-Edition and XT-Edition trims. This is the same color used on the US-spec Subaru Forester Wilderness, first introduced in Japan in late 2022 with the XT-Edition.<br/><br/>Both the X-Edition and XT-Edition trims are equipped with waterproof upholstery, durable cargo floor lining and black interior accents. The main difference is that the Forester X-Edition gets the 2.0-litre e-Boxer hybrid powertrain, while the XT-Edition gets the more powerful 1.8-litre turbocharged engine. All trims of the Forester come standard with Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system.<br/><br/>Pricing for the 2024 Subaru Forester in Japan starts at ¥3,069,000 ($20,040). As for special trims, the X-Edition starts at ¥3,377,000 ($22,051), the XT-Edition starts at ¥3,432,000 ($22,411), and the STI Sport Black Interior Select starts at ¥3,850,000 ($25,137).<br/><br/>This may be the last model year of the fifth-generation Subaru Forester in the Japanese market. The limited edition Ghost features an intricate starlight headliner similar to a solar eclipse.<br/><br/>The limited edition model was introduced before the total solar eclipse last year.<br/>Each car is finished in Lyrical Copper with Mandarin orange accents.<br/>The illuminated front panel trim features a 0.5-carat diamond.<br/>Rolls-Royce celebrated the recent total solar eclipse with a special version of the Ghost created by its Bespoke Design team. Dubbed the Black Badge Ghost Ekleipsis Special Collection, the latest special Rolls-Royce is limited to just 25 units worldwide, with only five of those delivered in North America.<br/><br/>The limited edition model was first introduced by Rolls-Royce in October last year. This was one of the highlights of a recent total solar eclipse viewing event hosted by the British brand in Niagara, Ontario, Canada.<br/><br/>What makes the Ghost Ekleipsis Special Collection different from ordinary Ghosts is its Lyrical Copper exterior paint, which contains powdered copper pigment that shines when exposed to light. Rolls-Royce also finished some parts in Mandarin, including the parts under the Pantheon Grille and the brake calipers. The car also features the same Mandarin color for a hand-painted outline running down each side.<br/><br/>Other special touches have been applied to the car's interior, including a Bespoke Starlight Headliner with a special animation that mimics the shape of a total solar eclipse. Additionally, the car features an illuminated dashboard panel with 1,846 laser-etched stars representing the total solar eclipse timeline. The aging midsize pickup marches on in the Brazilian market after receiving a series of exterior, interior, and mechanical updates<br/><br/>Brazil’s Chevrolet S10 midsize pickup is based on the last-gen Colorado.<br/><br/>Overhauled interior with a new digital cockpit and softer seats.<br/>The 2.8-liter turbodiesel now combined with a new 8-speed automatic transmission.<br/><br/>While North America welcomed an all-new Chevrolet Colorado last year, the previous generation of the midsize truck continues to live on in South America. Known as the Chevrolet S10 in Brazil, it has undergone a significant facelift for the 2025 model year, boasting a redesigned front fascia, overhauled interior, and various enhancements beneath the surface.<br/><br/>Beginning with the exterior, the standout feature is the entirely redesigned front fascia, which brings the aging S10 in line with Chevrolet’s current design language. The smaller LED headlights bear a striking resemblance to those found on the newer US-spec Colorado, though the grille and intakes are distinct to the Brazilian model. Additionally, the new face showcases body-colored trim on the base-spec LTZ, black accents on the Z71, and chrome detailing on the High Country trim.<br/><br/>The profile looks instantly recognizable, even though the front fenders are more sculpted than before. At the back, Chevrolet added a new pair of LEDs and a redesigned tailgate. The pickup was shown in the double-cab configuration, although single-cab and chassis-cab versions will follow soon.<br/><br/>The interior represents a significant upgrade over the outgoing model both in terms of looks and technology. An 8-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11-inch infotainment display closely match the setup found in the US-spec Colorado. The S10 also benefits from wider and softer seats and a Silverado-sourced steering wheel. Finally, new ADAS includes rear cross-traffic alert and blind spot alert.<br/><br/>Under the hood lies a revised version of the four-cylinder 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel which is said to be “managed by artificial intelligence”. Chevrolet doesn’t go into specifics but this is likely a fancy way of advertising new ECU software. In any case, the mill produces 204 hp (152 kW / 207 PS) and 510 Nm (376 lb-ft) of torque, figures slightly improved compared to its predecessor.<br/><br/>The updated engine is exclusively mated to a new 8-speed automatic transmission sourced from the current US-spec Colorado, and specifically calibrated for the S10. The extra trim around the wheel arches has a matte finish, and we're told the fenders are hand-painted. Another upgrade is in the rear, where a tow hitch is available for hauling up to 1,653 pounds.<br/><br/>The limited edition version comes in Urban Khaki with black accents and features a rear fog lamp mounted near the license plate. For added practicality, a roof rack is optional and can be fitted at your dealer. Inside, Toyota gives the Crown Crossover Landscape a gloss black finish and laser engraving of the model's name on the passenger side of the dashboard.<br/><br/>Available only with all-wheel drive and a 2.4-liter hybrid powertrain, the upgraded sedan costs the equivalent of $45,300 in the Land of the Rising Sun. Equipment is quite generous, including the B&O audio system with 10 speakers and a subwoofer, the Driver Assist Pack, and the Winter Pack (heated steering wheel and windshield) as standard.<br/><br/>The standout feature of the ST Edition is its two-way adjustable coilover suspension, crafted by KW Automotive and fine-tuned by Ford Performance at the Nürburgring. It is complemented by Brembo brakes at the front axle, a combination previously offered as part of the Track Pack along with the lighter wheels.<br/><br/>The suspension features twin-tube stainless steel damper housings and powder-coated springs, which are over 50 percent stiffer than those found on the standard Focus ST.
