It's also equipped with Digital Key 2, a fingerprint scanner, Hyundai's in-car payment system, and Bluelink+ connected car technology.<br/><br/>While the interior and exterior were renewed, there was no change under the hood. Santa Cruz still comes with two engine options; 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 191 hp (142 kW / 194 PS) and 181 lb-ft (245 Nm) of torque, and a 2.5-liter turbo producing 281 hp. (210 kW / 285 PS) and 311 lb-ft (422 Nm) of torque. Both are connected to a lightly tuned eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The multi-disc hydraulic torque converter increases responsiveness and the downsized oil pump minimizes friction losses.<br/><br/>The naturally aspirated engine can tow up to 3,500 lbs (1,588 kg), while the 2.5-liter turbo can tow 5,000 lbs (2,268 kg) and comes standard with all-wheel drive.<br/><br/>For 2025, the Santa Cruz will be offered in new colors called Rockwood Green and Canyon Red. Medium Gray seating surfaces will also be available. The epitome of Maserati DNA and of the extraordinary performance characteristic of everything the 100% Italian brand produces, MCXtrema offers up evidence of its disruptive attitude to racing between the curbs of the circuit where it could be seen in action in a series of fundamental tests to gather the data needed for the final tune-ups. The Trident’s exclusive creation is one of the brand’s boldest cars in terms of development and is an evolution of the Maserati MC20 super sports car, its inspiration and basis.<br/><br/>In February, it had its first official outing at the Autodromo Varano de' Melegari (Parma), where MCXtrema was taken to the track by Maserati chief test driver Andrea Bertolini, one of the most successful drivers in the GT class with four world titles aboard the glorious MC12, who has been working on its development in the dynamic simulator since the early stages.<br/><br/>The February shakedown and subsequent milestones to refine its performance have been the ideal setting to unleash the full power of the 730-hp (540-kW) 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, based on the Maserati Nettuno and taken to the next level.<br/><br/>MCXtrema has benefited from the latest and most advanced equipment in the world that Maserati has access to. Fundamental contributions have been made by the Virtual Analysis team, using the cutting-edge technology in the Maserati dynamic simulator, and by the Powertrain Calibration team, in charge of managing the enormous power delivered by the Nettuno engine. The experience gained during the development of the Maserati MC20, the in-depth characterisation of each component and the stringent bench tests on the engine have guaranteed the greatest accuracy in the simulation, ensuring that an extremely meaningful car would reach the track testing stages with figures similar to the validations in the simulator, required purely for real-world fine tuning.")

However, updates to the interior design of the truck are coming throughout the series. If Santa Cruz is more of an athletic athlete on the outside, he's become more of an A/V club nerd on the inside.<br/><br/>Santa Cruz now benefits from Hyundai's (optional) curved panoramic screen. It consists of a 12.3-inch instrument display behind the steering wheel and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen in the middle of the dashboard. Since this is a turntable, the automaker hasn't given up on buttons, and there's physical switchgear for frequently used audio and HVAC controls.<br/><br/>Matching the very large infotainment screen, the front panel is also slim and wide; vents appear to extend from door to door. The new steering wheel provides better control, and for rear-seat passengers, Hyundai added a center armrest with two cupholders.<br/><br/>2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz is Sportier on the Outside, Cowier on the Inside<br/>The truck comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and supports over-the-air updates. It's also equipped with Digital Key 2, a fingerprint scanner, Hyundai's in-car payment system, and Bluelink+ connected car technology.<br/><br/>While the interior and exterior were renewed, there was no change under the hood. Santa Cruz still comes with two engine options; 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 191 hp (142 kW / 194 PS) and 181 lb-ft (245 Nm) of torque, and a 2.5-liter turbo producing 281 hp. (210 kW / 285 PS) and 311 lb-ft (422 Nm) of torque. Both are connected to a lightly tuned eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The multi-disc hydraulic torque converter increases responsiveness and the downsized oil pump minimizes friction losses.<br/><br/>The naturally aspirated engine can tow up to 3,500 lbs (1,588 kg), while the 2.5-liter turbo can tow 5,000 lbs (2,268 kg) and comes standard with all-wheel drive.<br/><br/>For 2025, the Santa Cruz will be offered in new colors called Rockwood Green and Canyon Red. Medium Gray seating surfaces will also be available. And the boxy SUV hasn't changed much in almost half a century. But for 2024, Mercedes is teasing its iconic off-roader with some excitement, ahead of the EQG EV arriving later this year.<br/><br/>The base G550 ditches the V-8 for a new turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with mild-hybrid assistance via an exhaust gas turbocharger and electric auxiliary compressor. This means the base G-Class makes 443 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, while the integrated starter generator alone delivers 20 hp and 148 lb-ft. This means a total of 27 hp more than the previous model, but slightly less torque.<br/><br/>An updated nine-speed automatic transmission with torque converter provides wider gear ratios overall, while all-wheel drive with a 40-60 torque split comes standard. Even with its smaller displacement engine, the G550 still has excellent off-road ability. Three mechanical differential locks are paired with a transfer case that offers low-range off-road gearing.
