What place should we give them? When, in 2020, the Mayor of Paris tasked her with leading a major political initiative on children's rights, Dominique Versini asked Vanina Arrighi de Casanova to set up the Mission Droits de l'Enfant [Children's Rights Taskforce] within the Direction des Solidarités [Department of Solidarity] of the City of Paris, which aims in particular to raise the awareness of all children living in Paris of their fundamental rights.</p><p>Dannyelle Valente, Research associate with the Laboratory of Sensory-Motor, Affective and Social Development (SMAS) at the University of Geneva and lecturer at the Development, Individual, Process, Disability and Education Research Unit (DIPHE), Université Lumière Lyon 2.<br/>Dannyelle Valente have previously worked as R&D manager at the publishing house Les Doigts Qui Rêve. Prepare to jump into “Gun It”, the new co-op game of fast vehicular action. <br/><br/>Spot a threat to the right and toss over the shotgun. Slip the car out of the way of that truck before it explodes. Demand the pistol from the driver, to deal with a motorcycle catching up fast. There will be shouting, hectic equipment exchanges, and of course, collateral damage.<br/><br/>'Gun It' is a timed cooperative programming game for 1-4 players, that plays in 15-30 minutes. Players are together in a car in the middle of a firefight against the Inertia Corporation, and must come up with a plan for how to successfully eliminate threats without destroying themselves. Using a simple core mechanic, players exchange cards determining actions, and when time is up, they unleash their plan on the hostile vehicles all around. Hopefully nothing went wrong!<br/><br/>The crew car tile is placed on the table, and players choose a driver. Rotate the car so the driver is correctly seated at the front-left of the car. Each player receives a player aid according to their position in the car. Their seat at the table is their position in the car!<br/><br/>Deal out the 12 basic action cards: 4 equipment (steering wheel, shotgun, pistol, uzi), 4 directional arrows, and 4 turn order cards. Each player holds just three cards: 1 turn order, 1 direction, and 1 equipment.<br/>Rounds<br/><br/>The game is played over a series of rounds, the number of which is determined by the current game scenario.<br/><br/>Phase 1 - Lookout - Fill the 8 grid spaces around the crew car with vehicles, mostly sent from the Inertia Corporation.<br/><br/>Draw settings and moments that impact the rules for the round.<br/><br/>Phase 2 - Planning - For two minutes, exchange action cards, heeding any moments or settings. Players may exchange any and all cards amongst each other, the only constraint is that the steering wheel has to stay in the front seat. Try to come up with the best plan. Once time runs out, action cards are locked.<br/><br/>Phase 3 - Action! - In order, each crew member acts on the scene around the crew car, according to the cards they hold. Vehicles are wrecked when receiving damage equal to their health. They then explode in any number of directions, as determined by their collateral damage arrows.<br/><br/>Earn points by creating wreckage pileups and openings around the car’s final position.<br/><br/>Phase 4 - Aftermath - At the end of each round, all vehicles collapse inward on the crew car's position. Next round more get added to empty spaces around the crew car, and the cycle begins anew.<br/>Victory")

_bunny-deewana.webp "#song deewanaaur 'ho jaoonga deewana' as a lot of people call it was a huge hit for me because of its quirky video directed by that great director Yasser Akhtar. This was a collaboration between myself, Rizwan (Riz) Khan, Nadeem Asad, and Jawad Haider.<br/><br/>#Deewana also has a bit of a story behind it. I came across Mohammad Ali Shyaki in the parking lot of the Pearl in Karachi. He asked me to listen to this great new Indian song he'd just heard. We sat in his car while the song played on the car stereo. After listening to the first verse I remarked it was a crap song. He hurled choice expletives at me accusing me of having absolutely no musical taste. The song was 'Yeh kali kali ankhein' and may not have been amongst Anu Malik's best works. However, the first two lines kept replaying in my head.<br/><br/>So when I got home I took the guitar out and started working on this. The next day Jawad Haider and Nadeem Asad came over and we worked on the words and arrangement. I was recording at Sonic studios in those days and so we went in there, laid down the basic tracks then asked Riz Khan to come in with his guitar and other gear. The song was recorded mixed and released within the month. While it was widely accepted by the listeners as a typical Bunny song, it wasn't until Yasser did the music video that the song became a massive hit.<br/><br/>I've put together a few clips and redone the video. Having lost the master audio recording I had to pick up- this poor quality recording from the net and tried my best to polish it up.
