Meet the rescue dogs travelling Europe - who have climbed mountains in Norway, sailed across lakes in Switzerland and camped in the Italian countryside. <br/><br/>Austrian Anne Geier, 37, adopted Romanian street dogs, Finn, 13, a Labrador cross, and Yuri, 10, a Border Collie cross, from the streets of Romania. <br/><br/>Since then, the photographer has taken her pooches on adventures across Europe - including trekking through forests in Italy, exploring nature in Sweden and swimming in lakes in Switzerland. <br/><br/>The dogs travel with Anne and her partner, Robert Fahrner, 38, who works for a small company coaster company in Austria, stay in a VW T4 camper van and enjoy hiking through nature. <br/><br/>Anne snaps pictures of her photogenic pooches at the breathtaking spots they visit. <br/><br/>Anne and the dogs have visited Italy, Croatia, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands and Norway and hope to still venture to Austria - although say their travels are slowing down due to Finn getting older. <br/><br/>Anne, from Tauplitz, Austria, said: \

The rear-wheel-drive EV uses Volkswagen's most powerful electric motor to date.<br/><br/>Volkswagen is finally stepping into the electric hot hatch segment with the ID.3 GTX. Essentially the sister model of the Cupra Born VZ, the sporty EV comes in two different versions. There's a base GTX and a spicy GTX Performance with the most powerful electric motor ever developed by VW.<br/><br/>Opt for the regular ID.3 GTX and you get an electric motor at the rear axle with 282 horsepower and 402 pound-feet of torque. When you upgrade to the performance model, VW will increase power input to 322 hp while torque remains the same. Predictably, these high output figures match those of the Cupra Born VZ perfectly.<br/><br/>It takes the rear-wheel-drive hot hatch six seconds to accelerate from a standstill to 62 mph for the regular GTX, or 5.6 seconds if you upgrade to the GTX Performance. Top speed is electronically limited to 181 mph and 124 mph respectively.<br/><br/>Both GTXs share a lithium-ion battery pack with a usable energy capacity of 79 kilowatt-hours. It supports DC charging at 175 kilowatts, in which case the battery will be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 26 minutes. With a fully charged battery, ID.3 GTX models are estimated to cover 373 miles on a combined WLTP cycle. The battery is floor-mounted in the middle of the vehicle for better weight distribution.<br/><br/>As with the ID.4 GTX and ID.5 GTX, VW has made the ID.3 GTX look more exciting, with a redesigned front bumper with a larger air intake and a diamond-shaped pattern surrounded by boomerang LEDs that act as daytime running lights. At the rear of the performance model, there is a diffuser with a gloss black finish to match the dark mirror caps, side sills and window frame. Additionally, there are new 20-inch wheels with 215-section tires on the GTX and wider 235-section rubber on the GTX Performance.<br/><br/>There are plenty of red accents in the interior. There are sporty, electrically adjustable front seats with integrated headrests, GTX badging and fabrics made from recycled materials. All ID.3s will feature a new 12.9-inch infotainment system and a separate drive mode selector lever on the steering column. Better late than never, just like on the recently launched Golf Mk8.5, the touch sliders for volume and AC are finally lighting up .<br/><br/>Looking ahead, VW has already suggested that the ninth-generation, electric-only Golf will replace the ID.3 as there is no room for both in the range. In such a case, GTX will become GTI, as the German brand plans to keep the three vowels. It has even already trademarked a new logo in which the letter \

It has four-wheel drive consisting of two motors that provide a total of 335 horsepower.<br/><br/>The ID.7 GTX Tourer became Wolfsburg's most powerful production wagon, eclipsing the 315-horsepower Golf R Variant. Unfortunately, it's not coming to the US.<br/><br/>VW's first electric performance wagon delivers a total output of 335 hp from a pair of electric motors that enable all-wheel drive. Most of the heavy lifting is done by the rear engine, as it produces 282 hp, while the front engine produces another 107 hp. The German brand says the front e-motor only activates when necessary and comes to life in a fraction of a second. Power delivery is via electronic differential locks and a dedicated AWD controller.<br/><br/>The dual-motor setup helps the ID.7 GTX Tourer tow up to 3,086 lbs, while the rear-wheel-drive, single-motor model introduced last month can only tow 2,204 lbs. The smaller model comes with a 77.0-kilowatt-hour battery in its base form, while the GTX gets the upgraded 86.0-kilowatt-hour pack as standard. It can be charged up to 200 kilowatts using DC and a 10 to 80 percent charge can be achieved in less than half an hour. Maximum range isn't mentioned, but we think it's less efficient than the rear-wheel-drive model with the larger battery, which can cover 426 miles on the WLTP cycle.<br/><br/>VW doesn't offer any details about performance either. Considering the regular rear-wheel-drive ID.7 hatchback, we estimate 0-to-62 mph is achieved in the low six-second or high-five-second range, and just 282 hp takes six and a half seconds.<br/><br/>Like the ID.3 GTX introduced today, the ID.7 GTX Tourer adopts a slightly sportier look with redesigned bumpers, gloss black accents and special wheels. The electric sports wagon comes with 20-inch alloy wheels as standard, but you can also opt for the larger 21-inch set. The interior is adorned with red accents as well as GTX logos on the seats and steering wheel.<br/><br/>You won't sacrifice any practicality by getting the GTX, as it has the same 21.3 cubic feet of cargo capacity as the standard ID.7 Tourer. The same goes for folding down the rear seats, increasing maximum trunk volume to 60.5 cubic feet.
