Description: The iconic 'Darwin Arch' sadly collapsed May 17, 2021; it is assumed the cause was natural erosion. The waters in, and around the islands of the Galapagos, especially Wolfe and Darwin islands, are considered by most divers to be in the top four dive destinations of the world. It is protected, and managed well by the government of Ecuador. We had the good fortune to visit these waters in December of 2018, prior to the collapse, and then again this October 2023, after the collapse of the 'Arch'. T
