A partir de su colaboración en SABER PERDER, donde la pintura de Josep Santilari fue la i magen de portada de la novela, el cineasta y escritor David Trueba decidió seguir el proceso de creación de un cuadro. Para ello visitó el estudio de los hermanos gemelos Josep y Pere Santilari y filmó, conla precisión de un notario, su técnica y trabajo esforzado desde la idea original del cuadro hasta su terminación.
