Frank Ormsby introduces and reads seven poems from his 2017 collection The Darkness of Snow. This includes five sets of poems, two of which are covered in this video and one in another. The first of these sets features further explorations of his boyhood years in Fermanagh, including the first poem he reads here, ‘Altar Boy Economics’. This is followed by four poems from a set of 26 poems prompted by the work of Irish painters in Normandy, Brittany and Belgium at the end of the 19th century:
