Officials said the jets were delivered after they passed ground and flight trials and flew from Komsomolsk-on-Amur to the deployment airfield. According to a Russian state media report, the new generation 4++ aircraft were produced by the Gagarin Aircraft Plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
