Description:
Oyku (Beren Gokyildiz) is an 8-year-old girl who has a very clear perception and is very smart, unlike her peers. When her aunt, with whom she has lived since birth, leaves her, she has to find her father Demir, whom she has never seen before. Demir (Bugra Gulsoy), a fraudster who grew up in an orphanage, is arrested on the day that Oyku comes to find him. Demir is released by the court on condition that he takes care of his daughter, but Demir does not want to live with Oyku. While Demir and his partner Ugur (Tugay Mercan) are trying to get rid of Oyku, they are planning to make a big hit. Palestine was previously proposed to become a full member of the United Nations by Algeria.<br/><br/>Based on this proposal, the United Nations Security Council then held a vote, which was attended by China, France, Russia, Britain, and the United States, as well as 10 non-permanent members elected by the General Assembly for a two-year term. The current non-permanent members of the United Nations Security Council are Algeria, Ecuador, Guyana, Japan, Malta, Mozambique, South Korea, Sierra Leone, Slovenia, and Switzerland.<br/><br/>In the vote, 12 countries agreed, while Switzerland and the UK abstained. However, the United States used its veto power to reject the proposal for Palestine to become a permanent member of the United Nations. This rejection made the Security Council fail to recommend that the United Nations General Assembly hold a vote for all member states to allow Palestine to join as a full member. So what is the reason why the United States rejects Palestine's full membership in the United Nations?<br/><br/>United States Deputy Ambassador Robert Wood said the use of the veto power did not reflect rejection of a Palestinian state. However, the veto was given because he believed that recognition of a Palestinian state could only occur through direct negotiations between the two parties to the conflict, namely Palestine and Israel.<br/><br/>However, the United States expressed support for implementing a two-state solution that could result in a peace agreement.\")
