Description:
There’s a community in southwestern Trinidad that’s hoping to offer something fun, outdoorsy and family-oriented to the country.<br/><br/>It’s not a new concept, in fact, it's very similar to what we have at the Caroni Bird Sanctuary.<br/><br/>But, one hour further south, the people of Woodland tell our reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh that while a tour down this end of the island also includes close-up views of the National Bird, the Scarlet Ibis, there’s much more to see and do.

It could also detect electromagnetic radiation in a whole spectrum of wavelengths, which helps scientists determine the structure of the atmosphere. The satellite also had cameras that provided real-time images of cloud coverage. Nimbus 3 launched on a Thor-Agena rocket from Vandenberg Air Force Station in California and entered a polar orbit.
