Description: This case shows a case of AMD in which a moderate sized subretinal hemorrhage extends into the central macula.Vision dropped to 20/400.Options included 1. starting monotherapy with anti-VEGF injections, 2. attempting to displace the hemorrhage with a pneumatic retinopexy approach using the injection of a small, expansile gas bubble, with or without the concurrent injection of tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) intravitreally, followed by face-down positioning, or 3. direct infusion of a tPA
