A total of 16 ballistic missiles and five suicide drones were launched against mock targets in a simulated operation by the Iranian military.<br/><br/>Tensions have continued to escalate between Iran and Israel in recent weeks as nuclear negotiations between Tehran and world powers stalled in Vienna. Israel has vowed that if Iran's nuclear program reaches a stage approaching the production of atomic weapons, it will act regardless of the deal the United States and other world powers reached with Tehran.<br/><br/>An article published by the Jerusalem Post on Sunday said such Iranian threats were more important than ever. \")

_iran-keeper-is-39banned-and-fined-380039-after-being-pushed-away-for-hugging-a-female-fan.webp "An Iranian goalkeeper has been handed a fine and one-match suspension after hugging a female fan, who was being chased by security for reportedly not wearing the compulsory hijab.<br/><br/>Hossein Hosseini, goalkeeper for Esteghlal - one of the top teams in Iran - has been reprimanded by the Iranian football federation after he embraced a fan who had made her way to the side of the pitch. <br/><br/>Hijabs, or headscarves, have been compulsory for women in Iran since the 1979 revolution, enforcing what is widely considered by many Muslim women around the world to be a matter of choice.<br/><br/>Footage shows the moment when the fan made her way onto the pitch with her hair showing after her hijab had fallen, where she was accosted by security. <br/><br/>Hosseini can then be seen making his way over and appearing to gesture for the security to step away as there was no danger and embraced the fan. <br/><br/>However further security guards then raced to the scene and pulled Hosseini away from the supporter and escorted him off the pitch while a small scuffle broke out. <br/><br/>Fans in the stands appeared to throw objects at security as they escorted Hosseini away and seemed to applaud the fans and Hosseini as he left the field under escort. <br/><br/>According to reports, spectators continued to seemingly gesture angrily and allegedly chant 'shame on you' at the security guards as they remained on the field. <br/><br/>After Hosseini had been guided away from the field, several of his Esteghlal teammates approached the scene, one of whom gave the fan his shirt. <br/><br/>The fan then ran towards a corner of the ground that seemed predominantly made up of female supporters, whirling the shirt above her head in celebration as the rest of the stadium cheered her back to her seat as she pulled her hijab back on. <br/><br/>According to Iranian publication Khabar Varzeshi, Hosseini - who has played 11 times for the national team - was handed a fine of around £3,800 and a ban for one game for his actions, which were reportedly deemed 'unprofessional and beyond the legal duties of a player'.<br/><br/>The Esteghlal captain then reportedly made a public comment after being called into the federation disciplinary committee to explain himself, allegedly saying: 'I will pay the fine, for the sake of that lady'. <br/><br/>Yet reports suggest that these comments did not go down well, with the IRNA - Iran's official news agency - reporting that Hosseini could face a further penalty due to his public comments.")

![Wales is the kindest region in Great Britain. <br/><br/>Research, of 2,000 adults, revealed those in the country will carry out an average of eight acts of kindness each week, compared to the six that people in the East of England will accomplish. <br/><br/>Londoners took second place, closely followed by the West Midlands, and adults in the North West - while those in the East of England and South East residents came bottom of the pile. <br/><br/>It also emerged one in four adults across the country volunteer, dedicating an average of eight hours of their spare time each week. <br/><br/>The research was commissioned by Nissan, which is working with The Richard Whitehead Foundation’s Supported Runner Project [www.whitehead.foundation/supported-runner-project-overview], to help make Sunday's TCS London Marathon more inclusive. <br/><br/>It comes after the study also found 56 per cent would volunteer to help a disabled friend or person complete a sporting event, if they were equipped with the right tools and training. <br/><br/>Gold-medal winning Paralympian and Nissan GB’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Ambassador, Richard Whitehead, said: “It’s fantastic to see how people support each other across the country and so many would be willing to help disabled runners if they had the tools and training to do so. <br/><br/>“Helping others is not only incredibly important, but also very rewarding, so we’re delighted to give people the opportunity to do so around mass participation running events. <br/><br/>“The Supported Runner Project provides comprehensive training to volunteers, allowing them to offer all-encompassing support to runners with physical or neurodiverse disabilities before, during and after each event, helping to remove some of the challenges and barriers to entry that they may encounter. <br/><br/>“We’re looking forward to seeing the impact this will have at this year’s race and hopefully we can inspire even more people to take part in the future.” <br/><br/>The study also revealed the top 30 things people do to help others, with showing their appreciation (60 per cent) and holding a door open for someone else (59 per cent) coming out on top. <br/><br/>Donating old belongings to charity (44 per cent), checking in on a friend (37 per cent) and taking a parcel in for a neighbour (45 per cent) also made the list. <br/><br/>And while 51 per cent are kind because it’s part of their personal values, 28 per cent said it makes them happy and 27 per cent like to feel they’re ‘doing their bit’. <br/><br/>Half would like to help people out more often than they currently do, and 34 per cent would even go as far to say they wished they were a kinder individual. <br/><br/>A lack of time (42 per cent), money (41 per cent) and an introverted personality (34 per cent) are among the things holding people back from being more compassionate -
