Description:
Today's contestants are Vicky & Neil from Nottingham, Jenny & Sue from Birmingham, and Michael & Stephen from London. Dale Winton hosts and learns how one contestant broke into a Post Office (ooh er!), another got involved in Chinese Lion dancing (pardon?), while another is a cop who fancies wearing the pink jumpers in Supermarket Sweep - or does he? As it is, one team steals into an impressive lead in the quiz rounds, but will it be academic in the Super Sweep or will someone pull off the sweep of their lives to shock Dale and co? It certainly proves a smashing episode in more ways than one...

Dale Winton hosts in another Returning Players special, this time all men in a rare first for Supermarket Sweep. It's also all and above board as two of the teams are policemen, including a team from the first ever episode. They are a jolly bunch, but all are keen to have a 2nd chance at winning, though the coppers may want to book one team for speeding as they race into a good lead going into the Super Sweep. As before with returning players, checkout girl Christine comes on with a Xmas hamper, but after a fast and frantic Sweep, it all comes down to the price totalling, but who will be going through to the final and will they get the top prize of £2,000 or fall short yet again?")

But is it as clear cut as it looks, and will points penalty sway the result? It's clear it's near Christmas as Dale offers all teams a Xmas hamper, but will the winning team in the Sweep finally get their hands on the star prize of £2,000 or again fall just short?")

It continues along in that entertaining vein as all three teams post great scores that leaves it very hard to call going into the Super Sweep. So who will triumph on the day, and will they win the star prize of £2,000? It proves to be a very close call...")
