रेलवे लाइन पर लगभग सभी ने बड़े-बड़े पत्थर बिछे तो जरूर देखे होंगे लेकिन बहुत कम लोग इसके पीछे की वजह जानते हैं.दरअसल रेलवेे लाइन पर बिछे इन पत्थरों को ट्रैक बैलेस्ट कहा जाता है. जो काफी जरूरी होते हैं.कभी-कभी इन नुकीले पत्थरों से कुछ लोगों को चोट भी आ जाती है, लेकिन बता दें कि ये पत्थर जानबुझकर नुकीले ही रखे जाते हैं. दरअसल गोल होने पर ये एक-दूसरे से फिसलने लगेंगे और पटरी अपनी जगह से हट जाएगी. <br/> <br/>Almost everyone must have seen big stones laid on the railway line, but very few people know the reason behind it.Actually, these stones laid on the railway line are called track ballast.
