Description: The Environmental Technology group of the University of Valladolid and the company SOCAMEX, have applied microaerobic process to control H2S in the biogas produced in sewage sludge digestion. This operational strategy permits to obtain a free H2S biogas maintaing the removal efficiencies and methane production.nnSince the process occurs in the digester, an additional biogas treatment unit is not needed in contrast to existing technologies.nnThis video shows the evolution of the developed process
