Description: In 1911 a cougar was repeatedly breaking into the Stanley Park Zoo in Vancouver BC. It killed all the resident goats, drinking their blood and leaving their drained bodies strewn about like discarded coffee cups. The city was forced to intervene, as the goats were considered sacred by all taxpayers. Expert hunters were brought in and the cougar was killed the following day, just before sun down. The cougar’s body was stuffed and mounted in the Stanley Park Pavilion for all to admire.nnIn 1995
