But did you know that fraudsters can scam you even without these details? The request money fraud has been on the rise, and you can become a victim even if the fraudster just knows your phone number.<br/><br/>What is collect-call/request money?<br/><br/>The ‘Request’ feature on the PhonePe app allows a person to send you a payment request where the amount is filled in by the requester.<br/><br/><br/>Request Money on PhonePe<br/>Once someone has sent in a request, a pop-up opens up on your PhonePe app.<br/><br/><br/>You can pay by just clicking on the ‘Pay’ button and entering the UPI PIN.<br/><br/><br/>Pay using the collect call request pop up<br/>You can also ‘Decline’ the request, in which case the request stands invalid. Before declining, you can block the requester as well — this will prevent all future payment requests being raised to you by that person.<br/><br/>Here’s how Request Money frauds work:<br/><br/><br/>Fraudsters responding to your sale listings on Quikr, OLX and other sites<br/>You post a product listing on OLX, Quikr or a similar site. The fraudster spots your listing and gives you a call saying that are interested in buying the product. <br/><br/>The fraudster will then ask you to open your PhonePe app while you are on the call, and send you a collect-call request for the same amount as your listing. A lot of times the fraudsters use the PhonePe logo as their profile picture, which you can see in the collect call request. They also put a message right above the ‘Pay’ button with instructions like ‘Once you pay, you will receive money.’<br/><br/>This is a fraudulent message. You never need to click on the ‘Pay’ button or enter your UPI pin to receive money on PhonePe.<br/><br/>A few examples of such fraudulent messages are “Payment successful receive Rs. xxx”, “You received money”, “To receive click here for bank transfer”, and so on.<br/><br/><br/>A collect-call request with a fraudulent name and message<br/>2. Fraudsters pretending to be representatives of companies like Flipkart, Myntra etc.<br/><br/>In such scenarios, the fraudster will usually call and congratulate you stating that you have won money and they need to transfer it to Flipkart, PhonePe or any third party wallet. They may even tell you that you can purchase anything while on the call and they will enable this purchase for you.<br/><br/>This is what a fraudulent collect call looks like in this scenario:<br/><br/><br/>The fraudster has used a company’s logo & name in this collect-call request<br/>Please remember, no company or merchant will send you a collect-call request to transfer money or make a purchase on your behalf.<br/><br/>3. Fraudsters pretending to be PhonePe customer support representatives<br/><br/>In such scenarios fraudsters circulate fake helpline numbers on Twitter, claiming to solve problems related to money transfers, cashback, KYC etc. on the app.")

_second-generation-coming-with-longer-wheelbase-7-seat-option-new-citroen-c3-aircross-suv-2024.webp "New Citroen C3 Aircross Ups the Mini SUV Game with EV and 7-Seater Options.<br/><br/>Thanks to its longer wheelbase, the new C3 Aircross offers three rows of seats.<br/><br/>The second-generation C3 Aircross gets larger to make room for a seven-seat option.<br/><br/>Like its Opel Frontera cousin, combustion, hybrid and electric powertrains are available.<br/>The square-chin design carries the same cues as the smaller, five-seat e-C3 hatchback introduced last year.<br/><br/>But what differentiates the second-generation Aircross from the regular C3 isn't more legroom, it's room for more legs. The wheelbase extension gives the pocket-sized SUV a seven-seat option for the first time.<br/><br/>Citroen officially unveiled the new C3 Aircross today and, as expected, it's a mix of Stellantis products we're already familiar with. It ditches the curves, adopting the boxy design language already seen on the smaller C3 hatchback, which shares the updated 'Smart' CMP platform, and Citroen's controversial new corporate logo features proudly on the grille, whose mesh is patterned after the brand's double-striped grille.<br/><br/>And there are similarities with the South American market Aircross introduced 12 months ago, although that model features different door handles and a more traditional Citroen nose.<br/><br/>In terms of packaging, the Aircross closely mirrors the recently introduced Opel Frontera, which also uses the same architecture and will compete directly with Citroen for buyers across Europe. Neither company has revealed the wheelbase measurements for either car (they'll likely be the same), but Citroen says the Aircross is the largest in its class and that's why it can fit a third row of seats inside; This is something Opel hasn't done yet.<br/><br/>We know that overall length has increased by 240 mm (9.5 inches) over the old Aircross, with overall bumper-to-bumper length rising to 4,390 mm (172.8 inches), and Citroen says the more upright rear window means third-row passengers won't have to lower their heads .<br/><br/>Like all its small SUV rivals, the Aircross has zero real off-road purpose, despite what its ground clearance, roof bars and body cladding would have you believe. Citroen has not detailed the powertrain setups at this stage, but says combustion, hybrid and electric options will all be available.<br/><br/>This means we can expect to find the group's 1.2-liter turbo engine under the hood, both with and without 48-volt mild hybrid support.
