There is sadly a time when we find ourselves across the river from where we really want to be. The river itself is simply churning away, and is obviously very troubled water indeed. For us to attempt to forge this wild river on our own, would surely entail our own swift destruction. What we so desperately need is a bridge to “CROSS” over this extremely troubled water. Ipso facto Jesus is our bridge over troubled water, and this particular analogy has always given me wonderfully glorious goos
