April is National Poetry Month, so to kick off this very special occasion, I participated in an Open Mic show at one of my favorite venues, the Plymouth Coffee Bean Company on Monday, April 8th. And despite the beautiful weather and the fact that the University of Michigan's men's basketball team was playing top-ranked Louisville for the NCAA Championship, the show turned out to be quite memorable.nnWhat the shorter performance lineup lost in quantity was definitely made up for in quality.
