_top-flight-match-in-greece-descends-into-a-brawl-after-a-fiery-derby-as-police-are-forced-to-intervene-and-manager-faces.webp "AEK Athens manager Matias Almeyda was involved in a heated brawl after a fiery derby against PAOK descended into unsightly scenes following the final whistle. <br/><br/>In shameful chaos in Greece, AEK lost 3-2 to their rivals in a crucial match in the Super League title race and the result lit the fuse on a chaotic altercation.<br/><br/>Almeyda was caught on camera at full-time venting his fury before becoming involved in a fracas as a small crowd of bodies gathered around the dugout.<br/><br/>The 50-year-old was spotted pushing Sergio Araujo, his player, and a substitute, and then went on to confront several people, forcing police to step in.<br/><br/>PAOK's Taison and several AEK coaches looked to hold Almeyda back but they were unsuccessful as he wriggled away and grabbed another person by the neck.<br/><br/>Eventually, Almeyda was dragged out of the melee and the flare-up petered out.<br/><br/>According to the Greek publication Sportal, the man seemingly throttled by Almeyda was an official working for the Sub-Directorate of Sports Violence Prevention.<br/><br/>Speaking in his post-match press conference, Almeyda addressed the brawl and revealed he had apologized to the individual he had grabbed at the neck.<br/><br/>He said: 'Did you see how many people were in the stadium? What I always say is that if we want to change the situation in Greek football, there cannot be so many people. There is no one at AEK matches. So who protects us on the field?<br/><br/>'I don't care if it was PAOK people or others, I just think that people should be more respectful. I respect the world and I want the same. <br/><br/>'When I see an injustice being done, I react. I am a man, blood flows in my veins. I'm not going to change the way I am as a person.<br/><br/>'I respect everyone whether I'm playing inside or outside and I want to be treated as a human being. I hope we don't all have to be upset about something that has happened on the field. Before I had received some pushes. <br/><br/>'If you push me, I'll do the same. Because I don't push, I talk. I accept defeats and criticism, but don't let anyone challenge me. It's simple. If what I did is bad, yes it is.'<br/><br/>Almeyda is now facing a touchline ban of up to three matches.")
![Noni Madueke had to be dragged away from referee Craig Pawson after Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday evening. <br/><br/>Madueke and his teammates thought they had secured a 96th-minute winner when Axel Disasi headed home from close range to make it 3-2 in their favor. <br/><br/>However, the goal was disallowed after a lengthy VAR check that saw Pawson consult the pitch-side monitor. <br/><br/>Pawson ruled the goal out after claiming Benoit Badiashile had shoved Diego Carlos in the back in the build-up to the goal. <br/><br/>Madueke was furious with the decision and wanted to make his feelings known after the final whistle at Villa Park. <br/><br/>Madueke stormed straight up to Pawson and began shouting in his face before being restrained by Chelsea coach Jesus Perez. <br/><br/>Madueke and Benoit Badiashile could reportedly be heard saying 'It's wrong, you know it's wrong. You know it. You know it!' while pointing at Pawson. <br/><br/>Disasi, who scored the disallowed last-gasp goal, tried to calm Madueke down by grabbing him and walking him away from the situation. <br/><br/>However, it was a little too late as Pawson was less than impressed with Madueke's behavior and awarded him a yellow card before speaking to Cole Palmer. <br/><br/>Palmer appeared to plead with Pawson before being escorted away by Chelsea's backroom staff.<br/><br/>Once tensions had settled, Madueke was asked about the 96th-minute goal. _police-in-riot-gear-clash-with-fans-outside-the-tottenham-hotspur-stadium-during-arsenal39s-3-2-win.webp "Footage has emerged from the north London Derby showing police officers clashing with fans outside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. <br/><br/>Arsenal came away from the clash against their bitter rivals with all three points after surviving an impressive second-half comeback from the hosts, the Gunners eventually winning 3-2.<br/><br/>Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz struck for the visitors after a Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg own goal, and although Cristian Romero and Son Heung-min netted in a frantic second half, Mikel Arteta's side held firm. <br/><br/>The Gunners ended the weekend top of the Premier League as a result, while they also secured back-to-back wins at Tottenham in the league for the first time in 36 years. <br/><br/>However, ugly scenes have since emerged from the match with cameras catching the moment fans appeared to clash with police outside the ground. <br/><br/>The video shows a large group of police officers fighting with fans, with some supporters visibly being dragged along the ground by several bodies. <br/><br/>Another appears to be shoved to the ground before being struck repeatedly by officers, who were wearing riot helmets and high-vis jackets. <br/><br/>When another intervenes, seemingly to aid the other supporter, they look to be dragged away.<br/><br/>Throughout the conflict outside the ground, projectiles and drinks can be seen thrown at the police officers by onlookers.<br/><br/>Another clip was posted on TikTok that showed several home supporters inside the ground looking out onto a conflict between police officers and a large group of fans. <br/><br/>It is unclear whether the two clips are of the same incident at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. <br/><br/>There had been reports of away supporters finding a way into the home end for the clash between the bitter local rivals. <br/><br/>One Arsenal supporter was seen full-time in the home area revealing their Arsenal shirt as the players came over to celebrate their huge victory.<br/><br/>In an interview after the game, he explained he'd not realized he had bought a ticket for the wrong part of the stadium, having jetted from Australia to watch his beloved side play.<br/><br/>There is plenty of tension between the two local rivalries, who have long been historic foes, with abuse regularly hurled at players on the pitch from both parties. <br/><br/>Last season's clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium saw a fan kick Aaron Ramsdale in the back before beating a hasty retreat. <br/><br/>At full-time in the 2-0 win, Ramsdale made his way back towards Spurs fans to collect his water bottle before a fan clambered down from the stands and appeared to kick the goalkeeper. <br/><br/>The fan, later identified as Joseph Watts of Hackney, was charged by police and pleaded guilty to assaulting the Arsenal goalkeeper.")

After many conquistadors die, the Puka Michuna tribe heals the sickened survivors with the Tree's flowers. The tribal chief refuses to reveal the Tree's location, so Aguirre stabs him and burns the village. The dying chief curses the conquistadors, making them immortal but unable to leave sight of the Amazon River without the jungle dragging them back.<br/><br/>In 1916 London, Dr. Lily Houghton has her brother, McGregor, present her Tears of the Moon research to the Royal Society, which bars women members. The Houghtons hope to revolutionize both medicine and the British war effort. They request access to a recently acquired arrowhead artifact that Lily believes can locate the Tree but are denied. Lily then steals it, narrowly evading Prince Joachim, who is equally intent on finding the Tree for himself and Germany.<br/><br/>After arriving in Brazil, Lily and MacGregor hire skipper Frank Wolff to guide them down the Amazon. Frank, who offers jungle cruises embellished with faked dangers, initially declines, citing the dangerous river and jungle, but reconsiders upon seeing the arrowhead. The trio departs after escaping Joachim's submarine.<br/><br/>In Frank's cabin, Lily finds his research on the Tears of the Moon, but Frank insists he stopped searching long ago. They are captured by cannibals that are actually the Puka Michuna tribe who work for Frank as part of his contrived jungle cruise adventure. Angered, Lily distrusts Frank and sets off to find the Tree herself. Tribal chief Trader Sam translates the symbols on the arrowhead, revealing the Tree's location and that it only blooms under a blood moon.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Joachim locates the conquistadors petrified inside a cave. Partially revived, Aguirre agrees to bring Joachim the arrowhead in exchange for lifting the curse when he finds the flowers. Joachim diverts the river to flood the cave and Aguirre and his conquistadors are reanimated while fused with rainforest elements. The conquistadors attack the tribe and Aguirre stabs Frank through the heart. Lily flees with the artifact, chased by conquistadors, but the jungle vines pull them back to the river, preventing her capture.<br/><br/>To the Houghtons' amazement, Frank reappears alive. He reveals he is also a cursed conquistador. He helped search for the Tears to save Aguirre's daughter but sided with the tribe against Aguirre's brutality. After years of endless fighting, Frank trapped his vengeful comrades in the cave away from the river, petrifying them. Failing to find the Tree, Frank remained tied to the river, becoming a tour guide and building a village.<br/><br/>Lily and Frank travel to the La Luna Rota Waterfall and discover a submerged temple containing the Tree.")
