Part 6 and final part of the children's drama. The children's stay with their aunt is soon coming to an end, so they ask the Psammead for a special wish on their final day. And as it turns out it proves very opportune when Pip overhears a devious plot against the household...<br/><br/>Starring Anna Massey, Toby Afundell-Phillips, Laura Clarke, Vicci Avery, Leonard Kirby, Frank Taylor, Polly Kemp, Simon Slater, Joanna Barrett, Callum MacPherson and Carol MacReady. This is from my own collection and one I had trouble finding at home until recently. Ironically I didn't have the follow up to this, The Phoenix and the Carpet, but yesterday I came across it in a charity shop by chance. So next month - as long as the site permits it - I shall attempt to upload that here to complete this series. Until then, enjoy this 2nd series, which I think is even better than the original.

While there they expolre their surroundings, only to discover something very unusual in a gravel pit by the woods. It turns out to be a Psammead, a sand fairy who tells them he can grant wishes. And it is here when their adventures really begin...<br/><br/>Starring Simon Godwin, Nicole Mowat, Charlie Richards and Tamzen Audas as the child stars, with adult support by Laura Brattan, Mary Conlon, Ron Welling, Joyce Windsor, Tim Matthews, Julie Newell, Anthony Wilcox, Emma Louise Clamp and Francis Wright as the voice of the Psammead.
