Description: 2013n nPalestinian–Bedouin citizens of Israel have been living in Umm el-Hieran since 1956, when the Israeli civil administration moved them to this hill in the Naqab (Negev). Now, the state wants to move them out – and replace their town with the distinctively Jewish “Hiran.” A group of 30 families have been waiting for two years nearby to take Umm el-Hieran’s land.n n(Produced by Adalah: The legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel www.adalah.org)
