Description: Century-old plant specimens — pulled from the 2.2 million the University and Jepson Herbaria hold — are featured in The Bancroft Library's newest exhibit. But before they went on display, they had to take a trip to the blast freezer — where they were subjected to Arctic-level temperatures.
