This is a short extract from a 4 part half hour series I produced for Star Cricket as one of the many leadup programs for the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup. The series was on how the 4 affiliate and associate nations paved their way to stand shoulder to shoulder against the best cricketers in the world. This particular episode focused on Afghanistan - their extraordinary and inspirational journey which painfully ended one step away from living their dream of playing in the World Cup.
