The Big Bang theory is presented by a lot of famous scientists like Professor Brian Cox and Neil deGrasse Tyson as an almost a factual account of the creation of our universe. In 1998 graduate student Saul Perlmutter decided to do find out if our universe would slowly expand forever or whether at some stage it collapses and come to an end.
