Supporters started lining up early in the morning and it took time to get thousands of people through security checks into the large venue. Trump used the rally to repeat claims the criminal case against him in New York was politically motivated and called for the conviction to be overturned. He promised to reverse President Biden's executive order on immigration and secure the US border.
