A devastated family are calling for justice after their beloved pet peacock was brutally killed by an 'evil' gang of catapult-wielding youths. <br/><br/>Disturbing CCTV footage shows a group of youths as young as ten firing objects at the rescued peacock, called River, which was sitting in a tree in Boughton Monchelsea, Kent. <br/><br/>The injured bird is later seen falling to the ground before the sick youths are seen holding it aloft like a trophy, ripping its feathers out and hiding its body. <br/><br/>River's heartbroken owners Alison Carter and daughter Macey Michael-Carter, said their pet was 'one of the family'. <br/><br/>The family, who have five other peacocks, are now demanding the youths are caught and punished for killing their pet - after being ominously threatened by one of the gang who said, 'You'll be next'.<br/><br/>Alison and Macey were just about to go on holiday earlier this month when they were told River had been targeted. <br/><br/>CCTV from a neighbour’s camera shows a group of five boys and one girl, three armed with slingshots, taking turns at shooting River, who was perched in a tree. <br/><br/>Three boys are seen aiming and firing at the helpless bird 20 times from the road before climbing over the fence onto the roof of a private property to fire at the animal again.<br/><br/>The footage then captures the bright-feathered bird falling out of the tree, flapping in distress and cowering in a corner.<br/><br/>Three of the gang continue to fire at the bird after climbing onto the roof of a private property before two make their way onto the woodyard grounds. <br/><br/>One of the boys is then seen holding the peacock by its wings like a trophy, before another rips out some of its feathers. <br/><br/>Before fleeing the property, one of the gang picks up the peacock and is seen trying to hide it in a corner behind some wood. <br/><br/>\

![Noni Madueke had to be dragged away from referee Craig Pawson after Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday evening. <br/><br/>Madueke and his teammates thought they had secured a 96th-minute winner when Axel Disasi headed home from close range to make it 3-2 in their favor. <br/><br/>However, the goal was disallowed after a lengthy VAR check that saw Pawson consult the pitch-side monitor. <br/><br/>Pawson ruled the goal out after claiming Benoit Badiashile had shoved Diego Carlos in the back in the build-up to the goal. <br/><br/>Madueke was furious with the decision and wanted to make his feelings known after the final whistle at Villa Park. <br/><br/>Madueke stormed straight up to Pawson and began shouting in his face before being restrained by Chelsea coach Jesus Perez. <br/><br/>Madueke and Benoit Badiashile could reportedly be heard saying 'It's wrong, you know it's wrong. You know it. _how-pembrokeshire39s-e-bike-scheme-works.webp "Pembrokeshire County Council have already had a rethink regarding aspects of the E-bike scheme, to reduce the chances of anti-social behaviour.<br/>The ‘Pay as you go’ E-bikes trial was launched in Pembrokeshire last month, with a fleet of E-bikes provided for members of the public to use for ‘commuting, leisure and local activities’ - with users. able to collect and leave the bikes at a series of pick-up and drop-off sites around the towns of Tenby, Haverfordwest, Fishguard and Goodwick.<br/>However, the initiative has already been met with scepticism by members of the public, as well as councillors, with many pointing out potential issues that the scheme might bring, expressing concerns on the E-bikes being ‘dumped’ away from their designated drop-off points, and others already highlighting late night revellers using them during the early hours of the morning, whilst clearly a bit tipsy!<br/>Once the scheme got underway, Tenby’s County Councillor for the South ward, Cllr Sam Skyrme-Blackhall said she was none too pleased with a ‘bike bay’ being positioned up against the historic Town Walls of the seaside town.<br/>“I do have concerns about the scheme in general.
