Freedom Law Chambers, the Attorneys representing the parents of eleven babies who died in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Port of Spain General Hospital between February and April, is accusing the North West Regional Health Authority of tampering with the medical records of at least one of its clients.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>The NWRHA said the 1st Certificate was issued immediately following the death of the neonate, based on the presentation of the symptoms, before the results of any tests were obtained and it was believed at that time that the blood culture would have returned positive so sepsis was indicated on the Certificate.<br/><br/>Subesquently the parents registered the birth of the neonate with the name Skiye Wilson...and the Death Certificate had to be amended to allow the death to be registered by the Registrar of Births and Deaths.<br/><br/>The parents went to the NWRHA on April 19th, however the doctor who filled out the 1st Certificate was not on duty to make the amendments on the original Certificate, so as is the usual practice a new Certificate had to be issued.<br/>By this time, the laboratory results were obtained and revealed all blood cultures to be negative for bacteria or fungi, so factually, sepsis was no longer a definitive cause of death, but now only presumed, given the neonate's symptoms.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Alicia Boucher has the details.

The planned relocation of the macaques has also been postponed to May due to the lack of enclosures to contain them.Addressing the criticisms, DNP director-general Atthaphon Charoenchansa had said: 'There was a rehearsal and adjustment of the plan to capture the monkeys by using cages to lure many monkeys in at a time, unlike the previous round that used tranquilizer darts focused on capturing the troop leader. Therefore, I want Lopburi residents to understand that we are not behind on our tasks.'Lopburi has become a popular tourist destination because of its large population of monkeys. The monkeys are mostly long-tailed macaques, and they can be found all over the city, from the temples to the streets. However, they can also be aggressive, and they have been known to steal food and belongings.")

Rapid has clearly done some work to differentiate the K-1988 from the Akira bike. For starters, it's obviously not red and it's not as low as the hero motorcycle from the Anime series.<br/><br/>The name of the bike is an Easter egg; K probably stands for Kaneda, and 1988 was the year the movie Akira was released.<br/><br/>For starters, the K-1988 is an electric motorcycle. It rocks a 15 kW electric motor with a power output of around 20 ponies. This gives the bike a top speed of around 87 miles per hour, which is actually technically pretty impressive for an electric scooter. In terms of range, the Rapid claims to travel 124 miles on a single charge, so it's best suited for urban missions thanks to its limited range. Rapid says a full charge takes about two hours.<br/><br/>Like most other electric bikes on the market, the K-1988 features a number of modern technologies. Traction control, ABS and not one but two full-colour TFTs all come as standard.
