The YouTube charity match between Beta Squad and AMP had to be abandoned after fans stormed onto the pitch towards the end of the game.<br/><br/>With the two teams level at 6-6 at Selhurst Park, penalties were looming.<br/><br/>However, the game had to be called off as hundreds of fans entered the pitch.<br/><br/>The referee instructed players to leave the pitch, with stewards unable to bring a halt to the swarm of fans. <br/><br/>The scenes marked a sorry end to what had been an entertaining game. <br/><br/>Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge had made a surprise appearance in the game.<br/><br/>The 34-year-old had an inviting opportunity to score but he was unable to find the net.<br/><br/>Sturridge made up for his miss, though, as the ex-England international eventually managed to score.<br/><br/>A mystery professional footballer stole the show as he scored a superb solo goal.<br/><br/>The Premier League player wore a black and red mask to hide his identity and found the net twice, although he also scored an own goal.<br/><br/>Proceeds from the game went to The Water Project, which provides clean water to villages across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Many people who die from accidental drownings had no intention of entering the water, such as those walking, with causes including slips, trips and falls, being cut off by the tide, or swept in by waves.<br/><br/>The RNLI is reminding everyone to remember Float to Live if they find themselves in trouble in water: tilt your head back with ears submerged and try to relax and control your breathing. Use your hands to help you stay afloat and then, once you are through the initial shock, call for help to or swim to safety if you can.<br/><br/>Finn Mullen from the RNLI’s water safety team, said: “We are approaching the summer holidays which we expect to be incredibly busy at the coast and across open water. We want everyone to enjoy being around the water but we also want to make sure people stay safe and know what to do in an emergency.<br/><br/>“It is important that anyone visiting open water understands the risks of the environment. We want to make sure people know what to do in an emergency. If you get into trouble in the water, Float to Live: tilt your head back with ears submerged and try to relax and control your breathing.
