Ruby, who turned two in December, first got involved in the sport when she saw Martin paddleboarding and decided to jump aboard and give it a go herself.<br/><br/>The spaniel has been paddleboarding on rivers in York, lakes in Cumbria and even the sea in Scarborough.<br/><br/>Martin, aged 46, says dogs are the perfect companions for paddlesport, adding: “They don’t complain about the rain, argue about where to go or mutter if you do it wrong.
