Description: Every year on June 14th the annual “Rice Planting ceremony” (御田植神事) is held at Sumiyoshi Taisha (住吉大社) in Osaka-Japan. Its origin dating back to Empress Jingū (神功皇后) who reigned from 201 to 269 AD.
