Weighing in at 6600lbs and boasting a horsepower speed of 5,000, the vehicle was built by Perry Watkins from Buckinghamshire. After a night at the pub with friends, the idea of Oklahoma Willy was born. Perry told FutureStudiosCars: âWe sit at the pub and come up with stupid ideas, Iâll then lock myself in the garage for five years and build it.â The owner of Perrywinkle Customs, Perry is no stranger to wild automotive creations. âItâs a bit like riding on top of a firework,â Perry explained. Taking around six years to build, Perry first bought a Rolls Royce Viper 535 jet engine, originally made in 1978. He stripped it down, polishing everything in aluminum, taking about two years to complete. Next, he added the after burner which took another six months work. Finally, he bought the VW pickup which had spent most of its life on a farm in Oklahoma, taking a further three years to finish. This rare and iconic vehicle is a prized possession of Perry, who doesnât like to do something that has been done before.The top speed for the vehicle is 300mph, although the fastest Perry has gone is 157mph, an experience he describes as âexhilaratingâ but a âbit hairyâ. The original engine sits in place making the vehicle street legal, providing you donât fire up the jet. Perry describes the power as âone of the most incredible things you can ever experience.â")

His lap time was the fastest-ever TCR lap recorded around the famous Island venue.<br/><br/>DâAlbertoâs weekend was thrown on its head at the fourth corner of the first race when he was tagged awkwardly by Honda stablemate Brad Harris and Hyundai driver Josh Bucan. The incident sent Tonyâs Honda FL5 off the track and into last place.<br/><br/>With the bit between his teeth, D'Alberto started a sensational recovery drive in the final two races on Sunday, finishing eighth in Race 2 and a fine fourth in Race 3.<br/><br/>D'Alberto says that the speed of his Honda is on point â he just needs a little luck to bring home more trophies.")

The vehicle remains stable on sideways slopes of up to 35 degrees. With a maximum fording depth of 850 millimetres, the electric GâClass outperforms its conventionally powered counterparts by 150 millimetres. The LOW RANGE off-road gearing increases propulsion with a special reduction ratio. The all-new model generates the function of conventional differential locks virtually using intelligent torque vectoring. G-ROAR brings a unique sound experience to the all-new electric G-Class. In addition to a characteristic, G-Class-specific driving sound, it includes one âauraâ sound and a variety of âeventâ sounds.")
