Description: A total of 84 photovoltaic panels were installed on the roof of the visitor center and on ground-mounted platforms adjacent to the visitor center complex. This 18kW system is expected to supply 30% of the energy needs of the Grand Canyon Visitor Center and could supply the energy needs of two to three average American homes.
