Operation Smile Mission in Kenya (OSMIK) returned to Meru and conducted a mission at the Meru Level 5 Hospital from the 20th to the 27th of April 2012. A team comprising of 49 medical and non-medical volunteers from Kenya, Australia, Ireland, South Africa, Sweden and USA worked alongside many local volunteers to screen and provide surgery to children and adults. Of the 179 patients screened, 103 received free reconstructive surgical care.
