Description: This video and PDF will document how I converted a Sony Vaio into a Raspberry Pi laptop with a Teensy keyboard and touchpad controller. A custom circuit board connects the Teensy ++2.0 to the keyboard FPC connector. Teensyduino code scans the keyboard and touchpad plus it controls the video card. After I made the video, I added battery operation. The Raspberry Pi runs C code that reads the registers in the battery with a bit-bang SMBus using 2 of the GPIO pins.
