A chronically disabled woman has said she would rather die than continue to live in the cramped kitchen she calls her “prison”.<br/><br/>Illa Smyth, who is 35st, is confined to eat, sleep and wash in the 13ft square ground floor room because her weight means that she struggles to get up or squeeze through doors.<br/><br/>The 54-year-old said the last time she left her terrace home in Gillingham, Kent, was to go to the hospital when she had to be assisted out by paramedics into an ambulance.<br/><br/>She has been isolated to one room as her health deteriorated over the last 20 years and she is unable to climb stairs.<br/><br/>Medway Council did grant £30,000 towards improvements in 2013, but Illa and husband Alan say they were told that this would not be enough to cover all the works needed.<br/><br/>The former McDonald’s children’s party organiser, who initially developed endometriosis and suffered several falls in skiing and horseriding accidents, has undergone at least 11 operations.<br/><br/>Illa suffers from gout, has arthritis in her joints and is incontinent.<br/><br/>Unable to walk unassisted the once fit and active woman has piled on the pounds and now weighs around 35 stone.<br/><br/>Illa has looked into having weight reduction surgery but says she is on a “waiting list for a waiting list”.<br/><br/>Fighting back tears, she said: “If I go to bed and don’t wake up that would be a good thing.<br/><br/>“I have been housebound for what feels like forever. _one-in-four-adults-prefer-it-firm-in-the-bedroom-when-it-comes-to-mattresses.webp "One in four adults prefer it firm in the bedroom - when it comes to mattresses, at least.<br/><br/>But a study of 2,000 adults revealed 28 per cent thought they'd prefer a firm mattress only to realise they need something softer.<br/><br/>And 23 per cent are currently sleeping on something they’re not totally happy with.<br/><br/>To show how to make the right decision, eveSleep created an updated version of the children's classic 'The Princess and the Pea'.<br/><br/>At a pop-up event, they created two stacks of mattresses - with one hiding a giant size pea underneath.<br/><br/>Consumers were put to the test to see if they were sensitive sleepers and could detect the hidden ‘pea’ while lying on a stack of mattresses.<br/><br/>Lisa Richards from the online mattress maker, which commissioned the research to launch wunderflip, its double-sided adaptive comfort range, said: “Sleep isn't just a luxury, it's a necessity for a healthy life - the right mattress is your partner in achieving that rejuvenating rest. <br/><br/>“It's about finding the perfect balance of support and comfort to ensure you wake up every morning feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world.<br/><br/>“Your mattress plays a crucial role in the quality of your sleep, affecting everything from your mood to your productivity the next day.<br/><br/>“That’s why we’re helping keen snoozers make the right choice when shopping online, giving them a choice of two different comfort ratings.”<br/><br/>The study also revealed of those who don’t like their current mattress, 43 per cent said it causes them more discomfort than it does relief.<br/><br/>And sleeping on an unsuitable mattress is most likely to lead to pain in the lower back (56 per cent) or the neck (36 per cent).<br/><br/>While 27 per cent will feel the strain across the shoulders, and 14 per cent will even report pain in their legs.<br/><br/>More than a quarter (26 per cent) even admit the quality of their mattress will ‘very much’ impact their mood on any given morning.<br/><br/>And 32 per cent admit they have trouble falling asleep regularly, according to the OnePoll.com figures.<br/><br/>The ‘Bed Battle: Team Firm vs Team Soft’ experience will take place at Gallery@Oxo in London’s Southbank from Thursday 2nd May to Sunday 5th May.<br/><br/>Lisa Richards added: \")

Rajiv after getting married breaks his promise and the story starts getting complicated. In a weak moment Ranvir and Shaina come very close to each other, and an affair starts between the younger brother's wife and the elder brother.<br/><br/>When the younger brother starts suspecting his wife, all hell breaks loose. A murder is committed, a contract killing is issued, double crossings become the order of the day, betrayals are executed at the blink of an eye, and a point comes where you cannot pick the good from the bad, the evil from the righteous and the tame from the wild.<br/><br/>A sharp tongued detective R.D., getting wise on the proceedings, starts an intriguing investigation with his brainless bimbo assistant Mini, and the story starts to move at a breakneck speed, full of unexpected twists and turns making the climax of the movie impossible to predict. A back drop of horse racing, the beautiful locales of Durban and edge of the seat excitement are the crux of Race.<br/>Ranvir (Saif Ali Khan) is a successful horse breeder with a history of training and showing winning race horses in South Africa. Rajiv (Akshaye Khanna), Ranvir's brother, is also in the racing world, but he is less cutthroat in his job and, as a result, has not produced the same number of winning ponies. However, Rajiv shows his prickly side when he steals Ranvir's girlfriend, Sonia (Bipasha Basu), and hatches a nefarious plot to take over his sibling's thriving business as well.<br/>")
