An ipu gourd on the beach. The ipu is used as a percussion instrument in hawaiian chants and hula. From photographs, this art is created with photoshop to give it a painted look. Applied filters, brushes, layer blends to emulate traditional paint media simulating a mix of water color, acrylic and felt pen. Video done in Photo Story 3.
