In 2011, Laroussi travelled to Morocco and interviewed 21 completely veiled women. On her return to the Netherlands she developed a documentary with filmmaker Marieke Helmus. With her experiences and reflections on the interviews, Laroussi entered into a research project in movement and dance at Production house Dansmakers.
