A restaging of a video work from 2011, with added content.nnA commission for the the Nelson Arts Festival in New Zealand nnThe basic concept was to trace a time-line of the history of the city in a creative and abstract way and to use the staircase and cathedral as the canvas.nnIt was an interesting surface to work with 63 meters of projection depth. nnWe created the mask by taking a small 5k projector onto site and projecting white over the steps so we could draw the key points in space, no pho
