Saulainajā 25. maija piektdienā Ēveles muižas parka estrādē notika II Burtnieku novada bērnu sadziedāšanās un sadancošanās svētki. Šoreiz tiem tika dots nosaukums „Ziedoņa virpulī”, un pasākumā kopumā piedalījās vairāk nekā 250 bērnu no visiem sešiem novada pagastiem.nnPirmoreiz novada bērnu dziesmu un deju svētki tika rīkoti pagājušajā gadā, un pasākums ieguva lielu atsaucību, dodot lieliskas emocijas un paliekošas atmiņas dalībniekiem un skatītājiem.
