Description: Cerebellar hypoplasia in kittens is an underdeveloped cerebellum, likely the result of the mother being exposed to something during her pregnancy, possibly feline distemper virus, also known as panleukopenia virus. Kittens with this condition may be uncoordinated because the cerebellum is the part of the brain controlling balance and movement, but otherwise healthy.
