Description: A Wake-up Radio (WuR) system is composed by one Wake-up Receiver (WuRx) and one Wake-up Transmitter (WuTx). A WuRx requires MUCH less power than a traditional radio receiver to operate. This WuRx design requires few µA while traditional radio receivers require around 5 mA to 15 mA. A WuRx is usually connected to a Microcontroller Unit (MCU) in sleeping mode (featuring around 0.1 µA).
