In 2009 Celina participated in a volunteer program which landed her in Tanzania, East Africa working for an NGO called 'Tamiha'. She fell in love with it's people and a few years later started LOUPDominica, Elena, Violet, Theresia and Gladness.nnIn Tanzania there are many widowsallowing them to support not only themselves but their children.nnLoup & Co. employs a selection of these women to handmake our products as well as giving a percentage back into the widows community as a whole.
