Description: A new survey by Taiwan’s labor ministry has revealed a persistent gender pay gap in the average salaries of recent graduates last year. That gap was down from 10.3% the year before to 8%. The ministry says the gap may be due to a higher proportion of male graduates working in higher paying fields such as information technology and engineering.
