Description: Chini Mosque, also known as the Glass Mosque, in Saidpur city of Nilphamari district, Bangladesh, bears a rich history of construction and embellishment. Commencing in 1863 by Haji Bakir Ali Ahmed, it began as a modest prayer house, swiftly completed within a year. Later, under the initiative of Wazir Ali Ahmed and his descendants, extensive enhancements ensued, marked notably by the inclusion of 283 Cross Marble stones, 25 tons of chinaware plate chips, and assorted glass pieces.
