Description: The most iconic object in the collection at the Bradman Museum in Bowral, Southern Highlands NSW, is Don Bradman's first cricket bat.nnCricketing legend Don Bradman was just 12 when the bat was presented to him at a local Bowral match, when he was called onto the field in a men's game and the young boy scored 37 runs not out. Bradman's father, George, who was a carpenter, mended the bat, and Bradman went on to use it for 5 seasons, eventually scoring a district record 300 runs.nnBradman Museum c
