Description: Termitomyces microcarpus Heim placed by Rolf singer as Podabrella microcarpa fruits with unusual regularity as the end of south west monsoon approaches, mostly between August 20 to September 20 every year. The termites spread the ragements of subteranean fungus comb and the strictly epigeal fruitbodies emerge in hundreds on plain ground and being fragile get decomposed in two days.
